I'm Cheryl and I'm currently in the middle of a second PhD in Durham University's Philosophy Department. (My first PhD was in adult stem cell biology.) A short bio can be found here:

My project, 'A History of Embryonic Stem Cell Research' broadly covers embryonic stem cell research from the 1950s onwards; this project grew out of my MA dissertation discussing the conceptualisation of the stem cell before and after their isolation. I'm currently also working on a paper discussing scientific fraud, focusing on a case from the early 1980s.
